We get asked this question a lot so thought we would post the instructions here for all.

To transfer to a new PC follow these steps:

1. Make sure you have all your ODO data on your current PC (ie perform a sync).
2. Make a backup of the ODO.mdb file located in the ODO PC install directory (C:\Program Files\ODO PC by default)
3. Install Palm desktop and hotsync on your new PC
4. Install the same version of ODO PC on your new PC, ie, if you had V2.2 on your old PC, install this on your new PC
5. Copy the ODO.mdb backup from your old PC to your new replacing the existing file
6. Open ODO PC on your new PC and make sure all your data is there
7. Perform a sync with your new PC

As long as you have a backup of the odo.mdb file from your old PC you can recover your data if you run into problems. Tip: you should back up your odo.mdb file regulaly to ensure you have a copy of all your ODO data should you loose your PC or have a hardware problem.
