Frustrated.
I have been trying out times software but it was not syscing and giving me more trouble that it was worth.  So I tried Time2Log and was able to input for 2 weeks.  Got one reprt out and data disappeared so decided to go toTimes again.  after a long week of struggles with inporting date now my trial  is up and I have never seen what this will do.

I look a tthe screen shots on the web sit and none of desktop looks at all like web site.  I can't even find out what version trial I downloaded.

I need to track time vary badly.  However, I have no money and I can't get the department to buy anthing unless I can show them what it is.  What's a guy to do?  I don't have time for this.  Computer programs still require so much knowledge of systems and larger programs, that the common guy never becomes much of a user.

Can I get an extension on a trial period at least until I can show what it will do?  does your company do consulting work so if I sent you a work list and some basics of my administration you could make it work and all I do it plug and chuge?

Tired machinist.

Re: Frustrated.

Hi leeputman,

Sorry for the delayed response but we have been having problems with our web hosting provider and missed this posting.

I think part of your confusion is that you are looking at the Times Desktop page with reference to the PC application. This is currently only supplied with the Pocket PC version and not with the Palm version. The Palm version comes with an Access database called TimesApp. You will not find any images relating to this on our website but there is a user manual for both the Palm and TimesApp programs supplied with the trial.

If you refer to the manuals (Times User Manual.pdf and Times PC Database.pdf located in the TimesSetupFull.zip) they will walk you through the correct installation procedure and use of both applications, with plenty of screen shots for each area of the application.

With regards to errors without knowing the specifics we can not offer any suggestions. If you are still facing errors please contact support@comit.com.au with details of your problems and we'll get you up and running.

It is not possible to reset the trial, baring a hard reset of your PDA. Depending on when you started the trial there are a few things we can do to let you test the application further. When contacting support let us know the details currently being displayed on the registration form.

Finally we do provide consulting services. In fact it is our main line of work. If the application does not meet your needs it can be customised on an hourly rate basis. You will need to send us your requirements before we can comment further.

I hope this resolves your queries and feel free to contact support directly on the email provided. You will certainly get a faster response that way.

Regards
