Hi Bill,
Times has not been fully tested against 2007 as yet, but will be supported. From our initial investigation we believe Times should already function with 2007 as long as you do not upgrade the Times.mdb database file. The TimesApp.mdb can be converted to 2007 format as long as you maintain the linked tables back to the Times.mdb database.
Fee free to contact support if you have any issues.
After further testing we can confirm Times is compatible with Office 2007. However Times is a victim of the enhanced security in MS Access 2007 which prohibits the execution of macros which are not digitally signed. From a users perspective this is a good thing as it protects against possible viruses and malicious code, however Times is not malicious and needs macros to function. We are still working on a permanent solution for this but in the mean time you should add the Times folder to the MS Office Trust Center.
To do this perform the following:
1. Open MS Access2. Click the Access Start button (Top Left) 3. Select Access Options4. Select Trust Center5. Select Trust Center Settings6. Select Trusted Locations7. Select Add New Location8. Specify the install location for Times. (“C:\Program Files\Times” by default)9. Select OK10. Select OK again11. Close Access
Now when you start Times on your PC it should start up normally.
