.NET unhandled exeption
I have the following unhandled exception when logging in to Time Desktop. It happened after I accidentally deleted the icon for Invoices - and how do you get it back? See the end of this message for details on invoking just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box. ************** Exception Text ************** System.ArgumentException: Key not found Parameter name: key at Infragistics.Shared.KeyedSubObjectsCollectionBase.GetItem(String key) at Infragistics.Win.UltraWinExplorerBar.UltraExplorerBarItemsCollection.get_Item(String key) at TimesDesktop.MainForm.SetSecurity() at TimesDesktop.MainForm.MainForm_Load(Object sender, EventArgs e) at System.EventHandler.Invoke(Object sender, EventArgs e) at System.Windows.Forms.Form.OnLoad(EventArgs e) at System.Windows.Forms.Form.OnCreateControl() at System.Windows.Forms.Control.CreateControl(Boolean fIgnoreVisible) at System.Windows.Forms.Control.CreateControl() at System.Windows.Forms.C

re: New PC with Vista
Hi Brendan, Firstly to run on Vista you will need to install version 1.4 or above, the installs can be downloaded from our website product pages. Licensed customers of version 1.x can upgrade to any later V1.x for free so your existing serial key will work. For the PDA we recommend WM5 or above, Times will not run on smartphone edition. Your existing PDA should be sufficient, if you are having problems with the device we’d suggestion looking at the online forums for help. We use DELL Axim X51v’s internally. Had one or two issues, but generally good devices. These are quite old now and there are many suitable devices on the market. We have posted details on our forum on how to migrate to a new PC Have a look at http://www.comit.com.au/dnn/Forums/tabid/85/mid/414/threadid/46/scope/posts/Default.aspx Hope this answers you questions. Please contact support if you need further assistance. Regards ComIT Solutions Pty Ltd

New PC with Vista
Mr. Carter. I have pruchased a Lenovo T61 with Vista 32 bit procesor. Heretofore, Times professional v. 1.2.2 has been used on a HP IPAQ 2795b. There is a similar verison of the desktop product on the laptop machine i am replacing. In the first instance I do not know how to make a back up copy of the data on the PPC so I need to know the procedure for this. How do I get the newest version of your products. Do I purchase an upgrade license or do I pruchase the product from scratch. There also apears to be a problem with my verison of Windows Mobil 5. I tried to download widows mobil version 6 but was not allowed to because the web site said that widows mobil 6 was only compatiabe with Mobil five with build number of 14700+ my build number is 14300+. Do I have to or should I go out and purchse an new PPC. My preference would of course be to uses what I have but if I have to so be it. If it is your reccommendation to purchase a new PPC is there one that you folks recommend i

re Continuing Palm Support
Hi Dave, In short yes. We have been busy with other projects and there are no outstanding issues with the current Palm products so we have been concentrating our efforts else where. The next development for Palm Times is to integrate it with the Times Desktop. This work should commence later this year. Best regards ComIT Solutions Pty Ltd

RE Windows Mobile 6
Hi Ray, The Motorola Q runs WM 6 standard which is the same as WM5 smartphone edition in that is does not run the full WM and does not support touch screen and other required extensions. Our software will run on WM5 Pocket PC, WM5 Pocket PC Phone edition, WM6 Classic and WM6 Professional but will not run on WM5 Smartphone or WM6 Standard. The Motorola runs WM6 Standard. Basically if the device has a touch screen our software should run on it. I hope this clears things up. Regards ComIT Solutions Pty Ltd

Windows Mobile 6
I have been using Times for quite a while and recently upgraded to Pro V1.4 with no problems. I now have a mobile phone (motorola Q) that has Windows Mobile 6. Rather than always use my Windows Moble 5 device I have tried to load Times onto the Motorola but it says it is not supported. Your notes for Pro V1.4 say Support for Windows Mobile 6. Am I missing something or do I need to do something different than just progressing through setup like normal?

re: Enhancement Request to ODO
Hi Ian, Thank you for your comments. As you know the requested features are not currently available in the supplied reports, but you can create your own reports using MS Access. Using this you can include or derive any information you need. To use MS Access we suggest you create a new Access database and then Link the tables from ODO.mdb which should be located in the C:\Program Files\ODO PC folder. In this way you could also add new tables to store VAT rates, cost/mile etc. Then use the Report design to create new reports, refer to the online help for report creation. I will also pass on your comments to the developers to see what they have to say. Best regards ComIT Solutions Pty Ltd
