re windows vista
Hi Denis, Times is compatible with Vista, but the installer may not work depending on where you installed Palm Desktop and whether you are running UAC. To resolve this please contact support@comit.com.au to obtain the latest build and install instructions for Vista. Best regards Stephen

re: Time Entry Fields
Hi Steve, Thanks for your comments. Can you clarify what you mean by settings the Times Entry fields? Regarding the customising the field headings, this is something on the cards for either the next release or the one following, depending on time. Best regards ComIT Solutions Pty Ltd

Time Entry Fields
Have purchased professional. Would like to know if there is any way to set the Time Entry fields for display/entry AND if there is a mechanism for captioning Custom_<x> Fields. If there is no way, then I would like to request that these options be considered in future versions of the software. Wow...that's the only issue I have.... Seriously, what a great software package for both Desktop and PDA!!!! Thanks & keep up the great work!!

Times Professional registration
Hello Stephen Carter. Hope all is well down under. Have tried new desktop and would like to register as the trial period has expired. Please forward any information that you have to complete the registration. Also, I have upgraded to 64x operating systems on new machines and Palm does not support them. I am kind of stuck with stopwatch entry from third party but, it works for me. Possibly you could ad stopwatch timer to next desktop edition. Thanks to all for your products. They have been invaluable over the last years. Karl Danz

re: Open Source DB
Hi Neil, We are moving to MSSQL Express for the desktop database as this is free and provides a good foundation for clients to later migrate to the standard or enterprise version with no change to our software. As mentioned previously we will be moving the Palm application over to the same desktop client as the Pocket PC. At the time of first releasing the Palm version (1998) there were viable desktop databases and thus Access was used.

re: New PalmOS version soon?
Hi Neil, Yes we will be releasing a version of the Palm Times which uses the Times Desktop. However there is a lot of work to make this happen. Development hasn’t started yet so I can’t give you a time frame at this point. Feel free to check up on the status in six months, hopefully we will have made some progress by then.
