re: Conccurent tasks
Yes you can create overlapping times entries and bill them separately. To graphically view the entries have a look at the calendar view on Times Desktop. This will display the overlapping entries side by side for the period they overlap.

Conccurent tasks
At many times I am able to bill for time on multiple clients at the same time. Ex client 1 9:00 to 10:00 client 2 9:00 to 10:00 can this be done on PPC and desktop software. Thank you

re: Issues
Tony, we are having problems with the version of Pocket Times distributed by Handango at the moment. For some reason they are sending out V1.1 and not the latest. If you download the latest from our site it will resolve your registration problems. Once your PDA and PC versions are the same version you should be able to sync. If you have any problems check the connection setting and details on our Pocket Times forum. Regards ComIT Solutions Pty Ltd

re: Registration Key
Hi John, The serial key is based on the registration name entered when placing your order, if this does not match the owner name on your PDA then you will have problems. Also make sure you are running the latest version, 1.2.2 as I write. There was a problem with V1.1 and the keys from Handango. If this does not resolve your issue send an email to support with your current registration name and we'll create a new key for you. Regards ComIT Solutions Pty Ltd

re Times Desktop vs Palm Times #2.4
Hi Charles, The Palm Times version will not currently work with Times Desktop as they use different database engines and structure. You can however create additional reports in the TimesApp Access database using the Access report wizard. If you need help with this have a look at the Access online help for Queries and Reports. Note that the existing Day Report is grouped by Client, Job and day and will give you these figures plus the details for each day.

Times Desktop vs Palm Times #2.4
Will they work together? I'm thinking (hoping) that the Times Desktop will have additional report capabilities over the existing Access Database, such as a report which shows Job Totals BY DAY. For Example 03-Jan-2007 Administration = 3.25 hours E-Mail Read = 2.00 hours Meetings = 4.00 hours Total For Day = 9.25 hours 04-Jan-2007 Administration = .25 hours Code Squigly = 7.00 hours Total For Day = 7.25 hours Thanks.....

re: Schlueter
Hi Bernie, To move to a new PC you really need the Times.mdb file from your old PC as this contains all the information stored on your PDA plus extra details invoices, system settings etc. Obviously in your case this is not possible so what you should have done is perform a Handheld Overwrites Desktop sync for Times to copy as much information as possible back to your new PC on the first sync with your PDA. I assume your Times entries are still present but your lookups are missing? If so you can recreated the looks from your existing data, first perform a Handheld Overwrites Desktop sync and then send your current Times.mdb to us at support@comit.com.au Otherwise you will need either a backup of the data files from your PDA (the all start with co01) or a backup of your Times.mdb from your old PC. If you have either of these please contact us and we’ll let you know how to restore the data depending on what backup you have. Regards Stephen Carter ComIT Solutions Pty Ltd
