re: mobile 6 and mobile 6 smartphone
Yes Times for the Pocket PC will run under Windows Mobile 6 Classic and Windows Mobile 6 Professional. It will not run under Windows Mobile 6 Standard (Smart phone edition).

re times/Palm m505/Mac
Times for the Palm will run on any Palm PDA produced in the last five years, or OS 4 and above. The Times PC application requires MS Office 97 or above to be installed. As long as you have these then yes the PDA and PC applications should work OK.

re: MS Vista, Office 2007 and YIKES!
Hi Phyllis, We have update the Office 2007 thread in the Times for Palm forum to address this question. Times can run under Office 2007, but you need to permit the code to run in the Trust Center. Re your data, as long as you still have your backup Times.mdb you can recover your missing data. Contact support if you need assistance with this.

MS Vista, Office 2007 and YIKES!
have used Times for several years. just purchased a new notebook w/Vista and Office 2007. Can't get Times to work in the new Access. Lost all of my data (though had printed what i needed). Am now recreating all client files. However, Times will not work with the new access. Also, wondering how it relates to Vista. I have had a lot of problems with the program being consistently blocked. This is enormously frustrating and i am concerned that this terrific program will no longer work. By the way i have a Treo 650. Whatever magic you can work will be greatly appreciated.

times/Palm m505/Mac
Hi, I have a Palm m505, never updated in any way, and have no idea how to check it runs Palm OS 3.0 or whatever. Second I have windows XP installed on my intel MacBook Pro running under Bootcamp. I assume this will work in terms of installing and using Times PC Database. Do you have any knowledge of this being so?

re: Times Professional
Hi Steve, The start and stop timer works on accumulation between the start and stop times. It does not create a separate time entry for each start and stop timer press. When you click stop the end time is updated and the hours calculated. When you click start again the break hours are incremented by the difference between the current time and last end time and the timer started again. Thus the time entry record has the original start time and the last end time. The hours relate to the time spent working, the break time relates to the remaining difference between the start and stop time. I hope this answers you question.

Times Professional
Looking for billing software. If you have a client you are on the phone with can you stop and start the timer multiple times and does it give the actual time of the day. Start 7:00AM Stop 7:15 AM Start 7:18 AM Stop 7:35 AM- Total Time and how many starts and stops per session. Thanks

re: Error when running report.
The amount of memory required to run the reports depends on the complexity of the report selected. In testing we have found that between 5 and 25 Mb memory may be required when running the application, particularly if producing large charts or exporting large amounts of data to excel. Our recommended requirements are a device with 64Mb ram and at least 15 Mb free before starting the application. If your device has less than this it may not be possible to run the requested report. Please check you memory status and close down all unnecessary programs. Note performing a reboot may not free up memory as a number of programs could be set to start on reboot, eg. Active sync, Backup managers, phone plug-ins, today screen addons etc. Please contact support if you need further assistance
