re: ODO
Bob, You can download the ODO installation files from http://www.comit.com.au/dnn/ProductsandServices/PalmODO/tabid/78/Default.aspx Extract the zip file and run the Setup. Once installed you will need to copy your ODO.mdb from your old PC to your new replacing the one in the install folder c:\program files\ODO PC by default. Next open ODO on your PC and check the data is present. You should then be able to sync normally. Sorry but we do not support Blackberry devices.

re: as John Wayne once said "life is harder if you're stupid"
Hi Eric, Each record in Times has a user ID field. Some records can be shared between users, i.e. Clients, Jobs, Tasks etc. To ensure only the original creator of the record can modify the record the system checks that the current Times UserID matches that on the record. If not it lock the record with the error reported. Based on this we surmise that you must have changed your Times User ID after generating records and not the system thinks to do not own the original record. To resolve this ensure all your data is on the PC and then use the Times Desktop to fix up your Clients, Jobs, Tasks and Activities. Delete the Task you no longer require and then perform a Download Override Sync to your PDA to reset the data. Rule of thumb, do not change your UserID after creating records, otherwise they may become locked or get lost in the sync. Regards ComIT Solutions Pty Ltd

as John Wayne once said "life is harder if you're stupid"
so I'm trying _not_ to be stupid _but_ I have the following scenario. 1. I downloaded Time 1.4 pro from handango and whizzed off with a trial license 2) I finally beat the correct key out of handango (not my favorite group of people) 3) I try to delete an old task record in lookups 4) the system sayeth unto me "The record is locked as it is owned by another user" ???what??? I'm still me and I've got a photo ID to prove it. Please assist. Thank you. -evt

re: times pro 1.4 install - I do believe I've stepped in it
Hi Eric, It sounds like there is some corruption in the Times.sdf database on the PDA. The simplest way to resolve this is to close Times on your PDA and then delete the Times.sdf file located in the \Program Files\Times folder. Restart Times and the database will be recreated. You can then perform a Download Override sync to reset the data on the PDA. If you have any queries please contact support@comit.com.au Regards ComIT Solutions Pty Ltd

re: times pro 1.4 install - I do believe I've stepped in it
When trying to start times I now get. Error Code: 80040e35 message: [ IX_Times_client] Minor Err: 0 Source : SQL Server Compact Edition ADO.NET Data Provider Err. Par. IX_Times_Client The good news is my old Times setup is securely backed up. The bad news is even a complete uninstall reinstall on the hpc(or my attempt at it) leaves me unable to use Times. Please advise. Thank you. -evt
