Times for Palm
Hi- I downloaded the trial on Handango, and am singing the praises! I just started consulting with a client that wants complete tracking of every breath, and I have multiple projects-- so this is perfect. Ready to buy but want to make sure I get the most recent version. On Handango it says it is 2.4, updated in 2004. If I purchase a newer version on your site, will my data from the trial version be accepted in the new system? Janet

My host computer burned out
My host computer for ODO died. I am using a temporary replacement while awaiting my permanent replacement. I need to download my ODO info to a computer for reporting purposes. Can I download a copy to my temporary, then later to my permanent computers? I have purchased my copy of ODO.

re: ODO and Vista
Hi Susan, Sorry for the delayed response. Yes ODO is compatible with Vista. However you may have problems with the Palm Desktop, refer to the Palm website for more details. Feel free to try the trial without obligation and let us know if you have any questions. Regards ComIT Solutions Pty Ltd

re: Times for Palm
Josh, Times is not designed to handle this type of use and you would have to manage this outside the standard application. Given that the PC application is supplied with source code you could create a new table to record the block payments made and then automatically apply these to invoices as created. The sum of the difference would then be the amount left. There is a bit of work needed to achieve this but someone with reasonable Access knowledge should be able to make the modification. Times for Palm
Many of my clients prepay for blocks of hours so clients have hours on account, When I send invoices, I would like the total due to be zero and the hours on account to be reduced for work done that month. How would this application support this? Thanks, Josh

re: Times for PPC
Hrannar, Times is designed to track multiple staff which can then be consolidated on the Times Desktop application. Each staff would require their own version of the PDA software or a license to use the TimesDesktop software. Users of the Desktop version would enter their time via separate Logons which would related to their staff ID. The PDA version can not be used to track multiple staff as designed. You could use on of the drop down lists (Activity, Client etc) to specify the staff member, but this is not the intended use. Let us know if we can help further

re: Installation difficulty
Paul, We are not aware of any problem related to Vista and the installation of Times for the Palm. This may be due to a corrupt download or if you have not extracted the setup zip files first before installing. In either case you can download the file from our website or manually extract the file from the Setup zip file and then install this to your PDA. If you have any problems please contact support. Installation difficulty
During installation of trial software, I encounter a "windows cannot find times.prc" notice. What's the problem? I'm using Windows Vista -- is this a potential problem?
