re: WinMo synch
Hi Ron, The changes in the latest version relate to issues when upgrading. There are no changes to the sync process. The Sync process is working as designed, but we find users have problems getting their firewalls and configuration correct to enable the PDA to connect to the PC. Feel free to contact support is you need assistance. Regards ComIT Solutions Pty Ltd

WinMo synch
Hey folks, back again. I saw there is an update to Win Mo version, but couldn't see it on the site. I have not been able to synch after having each the WinMo version running and the desktop version running on their own. I went through the trouble shooting steps on the support page, still no luck - might the update help me out? Thanks

re: doa35.dll
Praise, The DAO35.dll is a library required for the data interface to the Access database. For the library to be accessible to all applications it must be installed on the main drive using the supplied installer. You can download a test application called DAOTest which will attempt to install missing system files from our support site at http://www.comit.com.au/dnn/Support/PalmSupport/tabid/82/Default.aspx Please make sure you download the appropriate version for your version of ODO or Times. Note to install DAOTest and our applications you must be logged on with the admin account. Regards ComIT Solutions Pty Ltd

re: Installation
Hi Peter, Sorry to hear about your issues. When the installation fails a log is produced which is referenced in the error message. Can you please send us a copy of the log and a screen shot of the error. Also can you let us know your OS version and whether you are logged in with an admin account. We'll do our best to resolve your issues. Regards ComIT Solutions Pty Ltd

Installation
I am not without experience but I have been trying unsuccessfully to install the desktop software for two days. I can't get to a valid database. I have double checked the prerequisites for a valid install. All I wanted was a standalone install with active-sync for my mobile. I do not want to run a server which looks like where the problems are coming from. This is a great shame as after about a week of research this software looked like the answer to my needs and those of others I work with professionally.

re: Droid App
Hi Chris, Thanks for your comments. We have looked at the Android SDK and currently it has limited support for desktop sync. As this forms a large part of our product benefits we are waiting for the platform to mature. Android will most likely be the next supported device, but at this time we cannot give you a time frame. Watch this space. Best regards ComIT Solutions Pty Ltd

re: Win 7 - 64 bit
Hi Ron, What error are you receiving? There should be an error log file referenced in the error dialog. We are running on Win7 64 so we should be able to resolve this quickly. Regards ComIT Solutions Pty ltd
