re: QuickBooks
Hi Keith, There is no inbuilt way to export the Times data into Quickbooks. However Times does support exporting data into text (and other) formats from the reports and advanced reports. If you can identify the format required by you version of Quickbooks you should be able to create an advanced report in Times Desktop to export the required details. If you get stuck let us know and we’ll see what we can do. Regards ComIT Solutions Pty Ltd

re: Error Code A43
Hi Bredan, This issue is caused by creating a new client on the PC and the PDA with the same Client code. When the sync occurs it tries to add the Client from the PDA to the PC and thus causes a duplicate. To resolve this you have two options: A) If you know the client in question you can delete it from the PC and perform the Sync again. B) You can reset the data on the PDA buy performing a Download Override Sync, this will remove all data on the PDA and replace with that on the PC. Any unsynced records on the PDA will be lost. After which you can sync normally. Regards ComIT Solutions Pty Ltd

Error Code A43 Message: Violatio of PRIMARY KEY constraint "PK_Clients'. Cannot insert dulicate key in object 'dbo. Clients'. Class : 14 Procedure: spr_XMLClientsUpdate Source : Net.SQLClient Data Provider This Message came up when I tried to sync. What is the procedure to correct the problem. In any event there were only several entries on the pocket pc to be uploaded to the desktop. What can be done to avoid it in the future. Respectfully Brendan Shesa

re: Problems with syncronization
Hi Erich, This error is caused by a problem with the SQL Client installation on the PDA. This may be as a result of installing other software which has corrupted the SQL libraries. Please uninstall all SQL and .Net related installs from your PDA (SQL Client, SQL Mobile, SQL Compact, .Net Compact Framework) and then perform a soft reset. Run the Times CESetup again and install all components again to the main memory. If you still experience the problem please contact support@comit.com.au Regards ComIT Solutions Pty Ltd

re: Palm Centro
Dan, Yes Times for the Palm will run on Centro. To install simply double click on the Times.prc file and ensure you install this to the main memory (not a memory card.) Open Times on the PDA, setup your Times user ID and then perform a desktop overwrites handheld for Times. All your data should now be on your PDA. Note, you can only sync Times to one PC and PDA. You cannot sync the same PC Times database to multiple PDA's with the same Times user ID. Regards ComIT Solutions Pty Ltd

re: Registration Issue
Ken, You need to enter the same registration details you received from Handango into the PC application. ie. Enter your PDA Owner name as the registration name, and the corresponding serial key. You can get these details from your PDA by opening Times and then click Menu / Options / Registration. Regards ComIT Solutions Pty Ltd

Registration Issue
On 7/18, I purchased Times Professional through Handango. I was able to use the application with no trouble. Yesterday, I finalized loading the application on my PDA. I have not been using the application on my computer because I wanted to get it loaded on the PDA for use during frequent travel. Today, when I tried to logon with the computer, I got a message that said my trial had expired and I had to register. I purchased the application, and thougth I was no longer on a trial basis. Then, when the ComTI Registration box came up, it listed my "Logon" as Ken Griesemer, and asked for "Registration" and "Serial Key" to be entered. All I have is the "Registration Key" from Handango, and this does not allow me to register. HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!

Palm Centro
I recently purchased a Palm Centro phone via Sprint. Can your Times program operate on this phone. I have used the program previously on my Palm Tungsten and it worked OK, although it has always been a bear to install. I just changed computers and when I went to set it up on my Tungsten it smashed it so hard the thing shut down.
